What is powder metallurgy mold?

Powder metallurgy is the process of producing a mixture of powders as raw materials, which are then pressed into shape using a four beam and four column hydraulic press in conjunction with powder metallurgy molds,

subjected to high-pressure molding, and sintered to form finished products with the required shape and size of the molds used.

Powder metallurgy uses a four beam and four column powder hydraulic press combined with powder metallurgy molds for rapid one-time molding,

compression molding, and high durability and precision, which are important standards for inspecting powder molds.

Powder metallurgy mold is a type of mold used to press metal powder or non-metal powder into shape. Pour a certain amount of metal powder into the lower mold,

then press down on the upper mold, close it, and use a ejector device to eject the prefabricated part.

Send the preform into the sintering furnace for sintering, and finally produce powder metallurgy materials or parts.

Powder metallurgy molds | Metal powder compaction molds have no special requirements for molds, low molding pressure, simple mold structure, and are sturdy and durable.

Powder metallurgy molds | Advantages of metal powder compaction molds:

1. Powder metallurgy molds use high-strength mold steel, which is solid and durable during use, not easily deformed, and improves the service life.

2. The production process of molds requires high demands and the use of computer technology to design models that are reasonable.

3. Powder metallurgy molds | Metal powder compaction molds are precision machined using CNC milling machines. The surface of the mold is smooth and durable, with high precision and density in processing powder products.

4. The mechanical processing steps of molds generally have three steps, mainly including casting processing, cutting processing of parts, and special processing.
