On the morning of September 4, the China (Zibo) Ceramic Membrane Industry Development Summit Forum was held. 

On the topic of the development and application of ceramic membrane technology, 

outstanding experts, scholars and business people from all over the country, represented by Hou Li'an, academician of the CAE Member, held a heated discussion. 

Experts unanimously affirmed the development of the membrane industry in Zibo, 

believing that the application of membrane industry and technology will play an important role in industrial production, technological innovation, environmental protection, energy conservation and emission reduction.

Hou Li'an, academician of the CAE Member, shared the application prospect of new membrane in the field of iron and steel petrochemical wastewater treatment, 

and made a comprehensive introduction from the current situation, the application of new technologies and other aspects, which benefited the participants greatly. 

Hou Li'an stated that the construction of ecological civilization is a fundamental plan related to the sustainable development of the Chinese nation. 

Green development is an inevitable requirement for building a modern economic system and a fundamental strategy for solving pollution problems. It is necessary to strengthen pollution prevention and ecological construction. 

"Currently, China has made significant progress in water pollution prevention and control, and pollution prevention and control have entered a new era.

However, China still faces severe challenges in the treatment of steel and petrochemical wastewater, and there is enormous pressure for energy conservation and emission reduction, "said Hou Li'an.

He stated that integration with future technology is an important direction for future development. 

Through information technologies such as big data and cloud computing, automatic collection, transmission, evaluation analysis, and decision-making of information in membrane separation processes can be achieved. 

It can also achieve remote automation monitoring and control, realize refined management of water treatment processes, form "smart water management", 

and realize fast, efficient, and safe control of the entire membrane separation water treatment process. 

At the forum, experts fully affirmed the development of Zibo membrane industry. 

Wang Jiwen, Secretary General of the China Membrane Industry Association, stated in his speech that Zibo City, 

as a major industrial city in China, plays an important role in the conversion of new and old kinetic energy, upgrading of industrial structure, energy conservation and emission reduction.

Huantai County is also known as the "Chinese Membrane Valley", with advanced membrane technology and top-notch production of special membranes. 

What we need to do now is to make the title of 'China Membrane Valley' well deserved, in order to drive the development of the national membrane industry and make China a strong country in membrane technology
